1st Foreign Legion Expeditionary Corps
"Corps of the Angels of War"

The corps was established 15 years ago from the remnants of brigades that had participated in the battles on Rasta 2. The formation also incorporated the remnants of the 56th Airborne Brigade, “Dragon Fangs,” commanded by General Elena Smith, known by the codename “Klieł.” Within the new structure, Elena Smith assumed the position of Division Commander (Général de Division) of the 1st Division of the Combined Forces of the Foreign Legion.

It was the first corps formed as a result of the extensive reorganization of the Foreign Legion. Already in the first years of fighting on the fronts against the Orcs and RAI, the unit gained the status of a Living Legend. Among soldiers and allies, an unofficial name is used: Corps of the Angels of War.

Current command structure (noteworthy):

  • 1st Foreign Legion Expeditionary Corps
    • Commander: Corps General (Général de Corps) Elena “Klieł” Smith
  • 1st Division of the Combined Forces of the Foreign Legion
    • Commander: Division General (Général de Division) – Erik “Wolf” Holmgren
  • 1st Mechanized Forces Brigade
    • Commander: Brigadier General (Général de Brigade) Elias “Poet” Rimeur
  • 1st Medical and Evacuation Battalion
    • Commander: Commandant (Commandant) Maya “Talis” Solberg
    • Deputy: Captain (Capitaine) Andreas “Clubfoot” Fisher

Corps specialization:

  • Airborne operations
  • Combat operations in extremely harsh conditions
  • Use of experimental technologies
  • Combat operations against Orc forces and RAI units

Additional information:

The events of the Rasta 2 campaign and Maya Solberg’s biography are described in the book “The Medic” (poland „Sanitariuszka”) Author: Mariusz Dąbrowski — Polish edition coming soon.

The dual rank naming stems from the formal rules in force within the structures of the Foreign Legion.

1034. Armia Wojsk Specjalnych
“The Ghosts”

An elite special unit whose origins date back to the Silent War — year 43 EPI. It originally operated under the number 60. The core of the unit consisted of a twelve-member group of convicts serving sentences for a series of attacks on the overthrown Federation government [access granted under Order #14913372].

First combat operation:
[Access granted under Order #14913372] — elimination of the top commanders of the Lunar Corp private army.

Over the following years, the unit gradually increased in size and evolved in terms of doctrine and operational tactics. Twenty years ago, many scattered special units of the Federation Army were reorganized into a unified structure — the Special Forces Army. The “Ghosts” unit was incorporated into its structure as a formation with the highest operational priority.

Primary operational tasks:

  • Deep behind-enemy-lines operations and high-value target elimination
  • Neutralization of internal threats requiring rapid and covert operations
  • Support for frontline units in reconnaissance and demoralization operations
  • Silent boarding operations
  • Assassinations and sabotage operations on enemy territory
  • [Access granted under Order #14913372] — elimination of inconvenient members of the Federation elite in situations where Federation Security Units cannot be deployed

Federal Security Units (FSU)

The Federation security services were established on the day the secession was declared following the fall of the Empire. [Access granted under Order #14923412] The formation originates directly from the remnants of the Imperial Shadow Services — structures responsible for the former Empire’s secret power apparatus. They conducted censorship, information control, and operations aimed at preserving the unity of the galaxy through actions carried out in the shadows.

The FSU is responsible for intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as the broad protection of the Federation against covert and systemic threats. Their activities include both informational operations and field operational actions.

Beyond their classic special services role, they also serve as a paramilitary special police force with capabilities comparable to military units. They are deployed to suppress uprisings, dismantle illegal structures, and respond to high-risk crises.

Any rebellious corporation or disobedient army must reckon with direct confrontation with the FSU. As the Federation government’s preferred security formation, they possess extensive authority, advanced equipment, and an almost unlimited operational budget. In high-risk situations, entire heavily armed battalions are deployed instead of individual agents—often better equipped than standard Federation Army units.

NewTech Company

Just 15 years ago, NewTech was an unknown entity in the industrial technology market. The breakthrough came with a contract signed with the 1st Expeditionary Corps of the Foreign Legion around the same time. From that moment, the company became one of the fastest-growing corporations in the user and military technology sector.

NewTech’s first products included exoskeletons designed for heavy industry, significantly enhancing productivity and workplace safety. Today, military versions of these systems are standard equipment across all units of the Foreign Legion.

The rapid growth in revenue from military contracts enabled the company to make significant investments in research and development. In a short period, NewTech expanded its portfolio to include advanced combat, transport, and industrial platforms, becoming one of the leading suppliers of mechanized support systems.

Main product lines:

  • Military exoskeletons
  • Industrial exoskeletons
  • Combat mechs
  • Transport mechs
  • Industrial mechs
  • Cargo transporters

GunTech CORP

GunTech CORP has been operating in the weapons market for over 60 years. Initially, the company focused on manufacturing simple firearms for the civilian sector, but expansion toward institutional contracts was planned from the beginning. The breakthrough came with its entry into the police and law enforcement segment — it was there that the first large sets of operational data and user feedback were gathered, forming the foundation for the development of new, more advanced weapon lines.

Over time, GunTech CORP transformed into the largest supplier of small arms and fire support systems for state structures. It currently fulfills contracts for multiple Army corps and Foreign Legion units, offering equipment across the full spectrum of applications — from individual gear to battlefield support systems.

Offered products:

  • Personal weapons
  • Machine weapons
  • Combat and sniper rifles
  • Mortars
  • Fire support drones (e.g., equipped with machine guns)

Med Neo New

Med Neo New began as a producer of conventional medical supplies, but the real breakthrough came with the development of the first effective medical nanobots. Initially, this technology was expensive and available only to select clients, but it gradually enabled the company to capture additional segments of the healthcare market.

Rapid growth and deployments in high-risk environments led to a contract with the Federal Security Units. This collaboration accelerated technological development, expanded production capacity, and significantly reduced unit costs. Today, Med Neo New is recognized as the leading supplier of advanced medical solutions within the Federation.

Main product lines:

  • Medical kits
  • Medical nanobots
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Vaccines
  • Hospital equipment
